BUILDINGS & GROUNDS: Luke ThornewillSexton: We have a new sexton who is ready to take on small tasks around the property.Tower: Brian Pfeiffer is unable to go up in the tower, but plans are proceeding. Please keep Brian and the tower work in your prayers.Cottage: The cottage has been vacated and is in better shape than ever. There are no immediate plans for proceeding. EMC: Pam GoddardIncoming pledges are comparable to the previous two years at this time.We will continue to have a prayer and testimonial time at the Sunday services. Cece Fowler, Curtis Barnes, Lou Gennaro, and Stacey Stuart will provide testimonials. TREASURER'S REPORT: Frank RobinsonThe inaugural Laundry Love event will be November 15.New Life Ministries has worked out a calendar of use for the church and Gardner Hall October results: Ordinary income for October was $29,419 vs. the budget of $34,500. Ordinary expenses for October were $42,938, $2,363 under budget, resulting in a negative NOI of $13,369 vs. the budget negative NOI of $10,800. If the October budget were adjusted to exclude $6,000 in net income from the Ships Inn Dinner that was received and reported in September’s NOI, the budgeted NOI would have been $16,800. Line of Credit: Cape Cod 5 Savings Bank has renewed StP’s $200,000 line of credit, effective November 12, for another 12 months. CC5 provides the line without charge. WARDENS' REPORT: Stacey Stuart & Lou GennaroNominating Committee: The 11 members of the committee will meet Wednesday, November 15, 5:30 -6:30.Discernment Process: Cynthia Hubbard recommended that the next session be opened up to anyone in the parish who would like to attend; November 18, 10:30 - 12:30. This will be followed by a debriefing with Lou and Stacey.Fundraising: We need to continue the tradition of the Fair. Marshall Keys will draft a letter to the parish about the importance of the Fair and start a conversation about how the Fair might be structured going forward. Lou will also schedule another brainstorming session for new ideas.Music Director: Primary focus of the committee is defining what we want in a new music director and moving forward with the search, not deciding what to do in the interim. RECTOR'S TIME: John BeachFour of our middle school youth will attend the diocesan retreat next weekend, a first for St. Paul's. OTHER BUSINESS:Curtis Barnes informed the Vestry that each week there are photos of events included in the email blast.A reminder that the Christmas Market is coming up.
