St. Paul’s annual Summer Fair in 2016 was held on Wednesday, July 13, from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. It is truly a family event with Fair Street closed to traffic for Kidstreet – a game, craft, and activity area for the children, featuring, among other things, the Dunk Tank, face painting, and prizes for all. Our parking lot becomes a feast with hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill, snow cones, baked goods, and our Raw Bar. The Parish House becomes a shopping mall with something for every budget. The Gift Chalet, featuring stunning gifts, art and antiques, is on the main floor and Hodge-Podge, an eclectic collection of household items, is is on the lower level. Gardner Hall will host the used Book Sale.
On Monday, July 11, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, kicked off the Fair with an all parish get together of our summer and year-round members and their guests - The Festival Night on Fair. Weather permitting, was be held in the church garden. This is an opportunity to enjoy each others’ company with wine and hors d’oeuvres, shop the great items in the Gift Chalet.
The Fair is a time of fellowship and fun that relies on your support, donations and volunteering. Donations can be left on the bench in the Parish House. Most items, in good salable condition, are welcome but we are unable to accept stuffed animals, clothing, and anything with an electrical cord. Please note that this year, we are unable to accept any more books.
Please contact the Church office with questions about donations and volunteering.
