With Bulletin For Christmas Services

December 23, 2022

Dear St. Paul’s Church Family,

On behalf of our staff, Wardens and Vestry, I wish you a blessed Christmas and Epiphany season! Even with weather worries and all the stuff of life, this is such a wondrous time of year. As I will read in reference to Jesus from the Gospel according to John on Christmas morning, “What has come into being in him is life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.” Now is a time that we welcome that light of Christ into our lives more fully.

Thank you for all of your gracious holiday messages to Olly, our staff and me. Thank you too for your generous and loving support throughout the year of our faithful collaborative efforts to enhance the wellbeing of our island community and beyond. Our parish has a simple mission statement “to make the love of God more widely known”. O Lord, let it be so.

Love,

Max
