With Bulletin for December 10 Service

December 10, 2021

Dear St. Paul’s Church Family,
I am writing to you while Olly & I are returning on the ferry from two days off island. We are always mindful of how blessed we are to live year round on Nantucket, but after navigating Boston area traffic and the back roads of the South Shore, we are extra relieved to be heading home. After my appointments and before stocking up at Trader Joe’s, we did take time to spend a wonderful afternoon with my Mom, Jackie - catching up in person, watching together Senator Dole’s moving funeral, and then sharing Communion. Although she would periodically boycott her parish if she disapproved of one thing or another, she now misses church so we bring church to her.
Join us on Sunday morning at 9:30 for Advent Lessons & Carols. The service includes five lessons recounting salvation history with seasonal hymns and carols chosen in response. Prepare ye the way of the Lord!
The peace & joy of Christ,
Max
