Offertory For The Beauty Of The Earth Ann Martindale, Jackie McGrath
Text: F. S. Pierpoint (1835-1917); Music: John Rutter (b. 1945)
For the beauty of the earth, for the beauty of the skies, for the love which from our birth over and around us lies:, over and around us lies: Lord of all, to thee we raise this our joyful hymn of praise. For the beauty of the hour, of the day and of the night, hill and vale and tree and flower, sun and moon and stars of light, sun and moon and stars of light: Lord of all, to thee we raise this our joyful hymn of praise. For the joy of human love, brother, sister, parent, child, friends on earth and friends above, for all gentle thoughts and mild, for all gentle thoughts and mild: Lord of all, to thee we raise this our joyful hymn of praise. For each perfect gift of thine to our race so freely given, graces human and divine, flow'rs of earth and buds of heav'n, flow'rs of earth and buds of heav'n: Lord of all, to thee we raise this our joyful hymn, our joyful hymn of praise, this our joyful hymn of praise.

At the Communion Love Divine Vocalists; Joseph Gioe, Flute
Words: Bianca da Siena (d. 1434), Charles Wesley (1707-1788)
Music: Evelyn R. Larter (b. 1953), quoting Love Divine G. F. LeJeune (1841-1904)
Come down, O Love divine, seek thou this soul of mine, and visit it with thine own ardor glowing; O Comforter, draw near, within my heart appear, and kindle it, thy holy flame bestowing. W O let it freely burn, till earthly passions turn to dust and ashes in its heat consuming; and let thy glorious light shine ever on my sight, and clothe me round, while still my path illuming. W Love divine, all love's excelling, Joy of heaven to earth come down, fix in us thy humble dwelling, all thy faithful mercies crown. Jesus, thou art all compassion, pure unbounded love Thou art, visit us with Thy salvation, enter every longing heart. W And so the yearning strong, with which the soul will long, shall far outpass the power of human telling; for none can guess its grace, till he become the place wherein the Holy Spirit makes His dwelling.
